I cannot tell you exactly how IA differs for the track you are intending on following. You are able to petition the college to take the specific classes you’re interested in taking as explained in our blog from our IA intern. You can do a side-by-side analysis by looking at the two tracks. Our intern at the time went on to graduate from UF, go to law school, and is now a practicing attorney.

UF Computer Science major track – https://catalog.ufl.edu/UGRD/colleges-schools/UGENG/CPS_BSCS/#modelsemesterplantext
IA Computer Science – https://innovationacademy.ufl.edu/media/innovationacademyufledu/pdfs/academics/majors/engineering/IA-CSE-Revised-Plan-may2021.pdf

Good luck!

How exactly does the IA differ from the traditional Physics and Computer Science track?
