Students transfer schools for a myriad of reasons. Hopefully, your student will finally feel at home once they become a Cane! If you’re a student transferring from another school, here is where you can find pertinent and up-to-date information regarding application deadlines. Here is a full explanation of all necessary transfer student information.
Keep in mind, transfer students have different deadlines for applying. Your application deadlines are determined by the semester you’re applying for. Students choose from two application options: Fall and Spring Semester.
Fall Semester
Deadlines:
Common Application and Supporting Documents
PROFILE, Priority Deadline is April 1
FAFSA, Final Deadline is June 1
2016 Federal Tax Return (with all schedules) and Employer W-2s
Admission Notification, Early April
Enrollment Deposit of $500, May 1 or four weeks after the date of admission letter
Music transfer applicants must apply by January 1 for fall admission. International transfer applicants should apply by March 1 for fall admission.
Spring Semester
Deadlines:
Common Application and Supporting Documents
PROFILE, Priority Deadline is November 1
FAFSA, Final Deadline is December 1
2016 Federal Tax Return (with all schedules) and Employer W-2s
Admission Notification, Early November
Enrollment Deposit of $500, December 1 or four weeks after the date of admission letter
International transfer applicants should apply by October 1 for spring admission
Note: admission and financial aid applications that remain incomplete by the deadlines will be at a distinct disadvantage and likely will not be admitted.
