Make Sure Your Package Gets There
For all the many reasons that a student receives a package, most of them are a welcome highlight to their day. Whether it is just their usual Amazon delivery or a care package for midterms, their birthday or even because your student is under the weather, it’s good to know a few things that will make package delivery simpler. Depending on where your student lives on UNF’s campus, there will be different places for them to pick up their package. The Housing Department will email students a Housing Box (HB) number upon their arrival on campus.
We actually recommend using UPS (or FedEx) in comparison to USPS for in-state shipping as it is just timelier. Typically, if you are sending packages from one Florida location to another, it arrives in one day at no additional fee (barring any weather issues or intervening holidays).
Adding another level of convenience, CVS is now an Access Point Location for UPS. Find your UPS Access Point Location here. Just click on the link for some great suggestions. And if you are sending packages purchased or fulfilled through Amazon, you might want to consider having them sent directly to an Amazon Locker location that is located near UNF. Sometimes picking it up from an Amazon Locker location is easier than having to navigate the package delivery to dorms or even apartments.
Housing and Residence Life receives packages from multiple package carriers, including the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx, DHL, and UPS each Monday through Friday that the university is open. Once Housing and Residence Life receives a package, it is identified, sorted and, if necessary, transported to Osprey Fountains or Osprey Clubhouse. At that point, an email notification will go to each resident who has a package awaiting pick-up, which contains instructions on where and when they can pick up their packages. When picking up a package, residents must produce their UNF Osprey 1Card (ID).
There has been a bit of confusion as to where students can pick up their mail and packages. I have listed the addresses below for mail corresponding to where they live to make this easier. Please bear in mind that this will change each year depending on where your child lives. Of course, if they are off-campus, packages and mail will go to their home/apartment.

Or if your student lives in Osprey Fountains they are the “12800” residents and their packages are delivered to Osprey Fountains Package Pickup Room (North Tower) Monday – Friday from 8:00-5:00.
If they live in The Flats they are the “4850” residents and their packages are delivered to The Flats mailboxes. Larger packages may be placed at the door to their apartment or at the front desk for their pickup. At the end of the annual student’s housing contract, students must arrange to have all mail sent to a home or other off-campus address 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Mail accepted until 3:30 PM
